Who gets added to the new league??

If not the A10- Siena might fit for the new league !

1. T.U. Center ( in Albany, NY ) holds 15,229 (basketball)- close to alot of big schools such as Syracuse- UConn,-Rutgers, -St Johns, Providence College..

2. They have a GREAT fan base !

3. NCAA Tournament appearances 1989, 1999, 2002, 2008, 2009, 2010

4. They have defeated teams like Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Villanova, Vanderbilt , Stanford and Kansas State. And came close to beating Louisville and Purdue !

You are joking right!? Siena has been terrible since Mitch Buonaguro took over... They aren't getting back into the discussion of good basketball again for a long while... If ever.

Siena will be looking for new coach by the end of the season ! And I would look for them get BIG NAME to turn the program around !! Because they recently put ton of money into program -building a 13,000 square foot basketball wing. State-of-the-art locker rooms. A completely renovated practice gym.

And I would add ..that this years team does have talent !! With the right head coach..this team will be back in the dance next year !! They just have the worst coach in college basketball !!

Well if Siena does move it more and likely will be A10. But anything can happen !

I think Siena to the A-10 would be the next logical step after it get's raided by the C7. Who knows, if you dominate the A-10 in the next 10 years, the C7 might be calling...

The fear with Siena the step-up from the MAAC would just be too large of a jump. A move to the A10 would seemingly be a good first step.

Yeah...the timing for move is very bad for Siena ! But thats what you get with a bad head coach. But again..he is going to ge fired without a doubt - then go after slam dunk for their next head coach !! Look for them to win the MAAC NEXT YEAR!

Yet two years ago we were undisputed Valley conference champs. We are every bit as much of a bellcow to the conference as you and Wichita State is. We are one of only 3-4 schools I believe that since the sping of 1999 have gone to a Sweet 16, made it to the Women's Final Four, and had our team in the baseball College World Series. To the best of my recollection Creighton has done none of those things during that time period. In the words of the legendary Jim Calhoun "get some facts."
