The stuff Stever is babbling on about is out of date. The concerns and worries are so far behind us in the rearview mirror. Back in May 2013, just the survival of FS1 was under discussion. Back then, XU, Butler and Creighton hadn't officially joined. We have 2 national championships in the last 3 years, etc.
There is no bad outcome in having MLB playoffs on FS1, which would have seemed unlikely or impossible in May 2013. The only scenarios under debate right now are how high will our levels of insane success be. Like, will we drive around in a Porsche, Maserati or Lamborghini...? See? There's no bad answer to that, no matter which car TBS gets to drive.
The Big East haters from 2013 have spent 5+ years figurately and repeatedly getting bashed across the sides of their f-cking heads with a 2 by 4. There's like 3 people left who even bother to mock the Big East... Stever and then maybe 2 guys holed away for 5 years in a cave on an tropical island like some Japanese soldier who still thinks we're fighting World War 2.
TL:DR. - Think of the knight in the Monty Python Holy Grail skit.

Meanwhile, some solo tourist from Northern Virginia in Bermuda shorts, knee high sweatsocks, Buster Brown shoes, and a pork pie hat is shouting at us from the curb... pointing out to us to a guy doing the same exact thing that we're doing, only the other guy is driving a Lambo and has 15 women with him.
In the situation we're in described above, why should we care about what the dork on the curb is saying?
Meanwhile, Mike Dunleavy just pulled up in his 1993 Ford Tempo to a Wendy's drive-thru in Muskogee, trying to decide between a Baconator or a Dave's Single.

You can act like just having MLB is a positive, and it is But it's not as huge of a positive as it could be. Imagine if this years AL was on Fox. THAT would be a huge plus for Fox, and you know it.
What thing has gone really well for FS1, where they've caught the huge break with ratings (similar to what TBS has this year)? The closest thing I can think of was 2016 where Cubs beat Dodgers. EVEN there- the series went only 6 games and they lose out on a game 7 where the ratings go to just another level.
