Today we took one step forward and two steps back. Marquette took down Georgia Tech for our second win in two days over the ACC. Creighton fell to Arizona and Butler took a hit from Tennessee. Tomorrow we have three very good shots with Nova playing Iowa State, UConn meeting Oregon, and Xavier matching up with Florida. A Big East Feast on tap…Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

This may have been the worst game day for the Big East in the last ten years. Five games against the F5 and only UConn comes away with a W against Alabama. Butler, Xavier, DePaul and Seton Hall all get beat. And we are not even discussing Nova’s game here against Portland. Still plenty of games to turn it around but time is growing short. No F5 today but Nova gets Oregon tomorrow and UConn gets Iowa State.

There was one day about 4-5 years ago that I thought was worse than this one was even. I remember I infamously said it might have been the worst day in league history.

Looking, we're over 50% done with these games- had 25 games and looking quickly I think only 24 games left now.

It really is now or never for this year for the league this week. By my count got 22 games left with the F5 and 13 of those games are this week. Looking at Ken Pom- projected to go 6-7 this week and 11-11 overall in those 22. Right now realistically probably need to go better than that even.
