Kalkbrenner out indefinitely with mono

Ryan Kalkbrenner missed our game against BYU and although it was announced as a non- Covid illness, multiple reports indicate that he contracted mononucleosis earlier this year. A bout of viral illnesses swept through the team earlier and it was believed his symptoms were related to that. However, as his situation and energy levels did not improve with time, mono was diagnosed. Due to the risk of enlarged spleen, physical contact is not allowed. So it sounds like Kalk could be out a while even though he was on the bench the other night and is apparently not contagious.

Still no word on his return and it seems doubtful he will be back this week.
