I don’t care what sport it is, Cincinnati vs Pittsburgh is always special! After the Travis Steel Era, just making the dance seems like an immense achievement. Now that we won a game, it seems like we are playing with house money!

First want to give a shout out to Jerome hunter for the best game he has ever played. Without him X would have been destroyed in this game. Second, I expect a big game for Claude, he is too tough of a player to have two bad games like that on this big of stage. My prediction, is X wins a close one and that Pittsburgh fans will be reminded of why they miss the Big East!

Can’t deny we were lucky to advance. Now we have the opportunity to show that we belong among the best.

amazing how often we see a team like that with rd 1 and they go on a long run in the tourney.

I turned the X game off in frustration (when they were down about 13 with 10 minutes remaining) but was happy to see they came back. Was some truly dreadful basketball, but apparently I missed some great basketball.

I agree that X could go on a big run now. Pressure is off.

I think the coaches that needed to get the monkey off their backs got exactly what they needed yesterday in Shaka, Hurley, and to a lesser degree Miller.

Sean Miller vs. his alma mater, where he was a star on the court. No pressure, no questions, stomp them bugs in our way forward.
