Again, Seton Hall beat the #1 team in the country and followed that up with two top 10 or top 15 wins right after that with Creighton and Marquette. There are not too many schools in the country that have the conf resume that the Hall has. They are in barring some unforeseen scenario where every AQ is some bottom feeder from their given conference and well, that is not happening.

St. John's is very close but they HAVE to win this game against the Hall on Thursday, no ifs, ands or buts. If they don't win they will still be close but they will get knocked out of a spot, guaranteed.

Johnnies need to bring their A game on Thursday at 2:30. No other way around it. We have to beat our cross river nemesis for once!!! Then we going dancin!

Ahem...Seton Hall hasn't not beaten Creighton this year (yet!).

That small detail aside, I think Hall is in by virtue of 13-7 in the Big East, which did include wins over UConn, Marquette, @ PC, and swept SJU.

James Madison delivered. Might have to wait until Sunday to see A10/American steal bids last minute.

I don't think it would have mattered- on the bracketville thing they were a distant 50 today.

They are sure gonna be fun for some poor 5 seed.

Yeah it was highly unlikely, especially with App State gone. Just felt the need to invent things to monitor on slow days like this I guess. Theoretically there are 2 more relevant games later tonight, but WCC results may as well be predetermined. It's gotta be the most predictable conference in history.

If Indiana State is a sitting duck, it looks like bid stealing situation is rather simple... just root for Dayton & FAU. Well, other than an unlikely P6 or MWC team winning its conference tournament. Theoretically frees up as many as 3 spots. BE bubble teams should probably root against each other, though.

Oklahoma/TCU - loser is probably safe outside of a wild sequence of bubble related results
ND/Wake
G-Town/Providence
AF/New Mexico
Kansas State/Texas
DePaul/Nova

The last 5 games are do-or-die situations, so hopefully we get a couple of good results for the conference.

I think the biggest one you root against tonight is Kansas St. If they win tonight, they get a shot tomorrow at Iowa St. If they win that- going to be tough to see them out.

Wake winning not a good result at all. Sets up matchup with Pitt that could easily vault the winner into the tourney.

Terrible set of results and the "win" probably knocked Nova out of the picture... fml
