NCAA Tournament Discussion Thread

Postby Omaha1 » Thu Mar 21, 2024 6:21 am

Thought it might make sense to have a thread for non-Big East related tourney discussion.

I was a bit surprised to see Colorado knock off Boise State last night. MWC had a chance to start 2-0 in the First Four. Personally, I’m skeptical if that league will deliver on getting 6 bids. I know the Aztecs made a run last year, but prior to that, the MWC had been a complete no show for several years.

Who will be the early Thursday Cinderella? I think it was Furman last year.

Maybe Duquesne? Morehead State?

Duquesne it is!

Just glad it isn’t Akron.

If the Michigan St who played today shows up on Saturday UNC could be in some trouble.

The NCAA tournament is notorious for showing the same commercials over and over again…..I cannot be held responsible for my actions if I see that Wendy’s commercial one more time……

Really like Steve Alford from Nevada with the RMK button in honor of Bob Knight.

Kentucky falls. And the Marquette half of their bracket opens wide open.

You beat me to it.

BTW, Oakland turned out to be one of our buy games - that we lost. That Townsend kid can really play basketball.

OK Marquette, the lane is wide-open.
