Nov 27/28 schedule out.
FS1 gets Texas Tech/Texas on Thanksgiving
Iowa St/West Virginia @ Noon(opposite Ohio St/Michigan on ABC)
Kansas St/Kansas @ 4pm(opposite Alabama/Auburn on CBS)
ESPN gets
TCU/Baylor 730 Day after Thanksgiving
Oklahoma/Oklahoma St TBA time (most likely 8pm Saturday on ABC)
so of the big 6 games- FS1 got none. Big Fox got 2. ABC has 2. ESPN got 1. 1 left between ABC and ESPN.
It's got to kill Fox folks that they got none of the games on FS1. Especially considering of the 45 conference games, there were 6 good ones.

The schedule for FS1 has got to improve for FS1 to become a viable option. The schedule this year for FS1 has absolutely sucked(while the one for Big Fox has gotten much better). It's like the Big 12 and Pac 12 have flexed their muscles and made it a lot harder for FS1 to get better games.

Well since Fox is paying half of their contract you should ask the Fox lawyers and those in charge of programing. Is it possible that THIS year ESPN gets those games and next year Fox gets them as part of their original agreement? Also when that deal was signed FS1 didn't exist so maybe they can't air games there because it's not in their contract? But yeah it must be because Big XII said "No way, FS1 sucks it's ESPN or nuthin' bro!"

FS1 aired better Big 12 games the last 2 years. This year the schedule hasn't been anywhere near as good for FS1. So no it's not that they can't air games there. And yes, the Big 12 could easily have told Fox, it's Big Fox or nothing. The thing is ESPN and ABC are viewed by folks as being close to the same. Big Fox and FS1- just aren't. It was very predictable that 0/6 of these top games would get on FS1.
FOX might have Notre Dame @ Stanford. The games on FS1, you can't look opposite anything, because it's a no win plot.stever20 wrote:and the final shoe drops on FS1 with regards to the Big 12....
