this should be interesting to watch:
2014 Feb games averaged 107.7k viewers per game(not even counting the Georgetown/Michigan St OOC game on 2/1)
2015 Feb games averaged 98.6k viewers per game on FS1.

So if we're pulling 200k viewers average- that would double last year.

The Big FOX ratings are improving as well.

Last year the games were in the 400K range. Now we have games nearing a million, and even the SJU v. Nova snoozefest was at 700K.

Fellas.
The sports u see on Fox1,2,and 3 are not the same as we in Latin America see on the same channels.
Down here (Panama/Ecuador/Venezuela/Colombia) there is much futbol (soccer), latin american and national basketball, a bit of the US's NBA, cricket, FIFA, FIBA, Euro Soccer leagues, and other non-US sports. Fox's picking up Mexican futbol (soccer) may only have a regional impact in the SW US, if any impact at all. Not a lot of demand for viewing Mexican soccer leagues in the USA. Mexican futbol could become a staple down here in parts of Latam though?

I completely disagree. This is a GREAT move by Fox. One of the best moves they've made. Mexican soccer is huge in the USA- and not just in the SW.

Also it's not Mexican Soccer leagues- it's the Mexican Men's National Team. So like for instance US plays at Mexico in the WC qualifier, that will be on FS1. It's HUGE.

Where do you live down there?

I always find it interesting to watch sports stations in other countries.

Well at least it seems Big East is doing better than the pogroms mentioned in the article.
