Another anecdote. Went out to lunch with my team and once again FS1 on all the tv's. Will be interesting to see if that remains the case after the playoffs. It is possible that Undisputed has replaced First Take as the de facto programming at sports bars.

Maybe. I suspect it has more to do with the TV's still being on the same channel when the place closed the night before, but we can hope.

Playoff Cubs are ratings dynamite. A big city team that has a national following and an immense, desperate, loyal fan base. Take a look at what playoff tickets at Wrigley are going for! Add an LA team to the mix and you get crazy numbers.

Why hasn't there been any Big East ads/previews during the NLCS? Maybe they'll start airing them on Fox for the world series? Congrats Cubs!!

Per Fox Sports EVP of research Michael Mulvihill, the Chicago Cubs win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in game 6 of the NLCS to earn their first trip to the World Series since 1945 earned a 6.3 overnight rating on FS1 (on average 6.3 percent of the households in the largest 56 markets were tuned-in.)

That easily eclipses the previous record of a 5.3 overnight rating set for game 5.  The game peaked with a 7.6/14 rating/share at 10:30 P.M.  The game averaged a 25.8 rating in Chicago peaking with a 31.2/53 rating/share from 10:30-11 P.M.  (of households watching TV at the time more than 50% were watching the Cubs.)
