Tough business. Read elsewhere that none of the former athletes are being cut, but the reporters are getting the axe.

I agree, Dana O'Neil is a true "get" for any serious sports news media outlet. Over the years, she has reported in an insightful way on a LOT of slightly-off-the-radar bball stories, both team and individual ones, that have really grabbed my attention. She's a keeper, and ESPN's dismissal only reinforces my opinion that she tends to cover stuff that ESPN does not or cannot really appreciate.
